Our CAT preparedness partner, Dr. Phil Klotzbach, and his team of hurricane experts Colorado State University have forecast 23 named storms and 11 hurricanes. This year, the likelihood of a hurricane making landfall on the continental U.S. coastline is 62%, nearly 20% higher than the average probability between 1880-2020.
