Today, we want to recognize and celebrate the 1 year Innovo Detox anniversary of Dee Dee Brody! Dee Dee is the Continuing Care Coordinator here at Innovo, working with Director of Continuing Care Mike Kessler to ensure that all patients receiving treatment at Innovo are set up with a comprehensive aftercare plan so that they continue their journey of treatment and recovery. It is our belief that best recovery outcomes occur when addiction is approached as a chronic illness and, therefore, when a patient engages in long-term care. So the role of continuing care here is vital to a patient’s sustained engagement in and success after treatment. Dee Dee works with our patients, all stakeholders in that patient’s life, and necessary clinical and treatment professionals and organizations to create an aftercare plan that will meet a patient’s clinical needs, financial ability or restraints, and support them in finding success in recovery moving forward. We are grateful for her commitment to our patients and the role that she plays in making sure they continue on their path in treatment and recovery once they leave Innovo. Congratulations, Dee Dee!
