#DYK: The United States Department of Defense recently released an Open Announcement through the Defense Industrial Base Consortium Other Transaction Authority inviting unsolicited white papers to be considered for Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III and Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) funding: https://lnkd.in/eF5ch6aZ "This Open Announcement will solicit new ideas for research, prototype, and production that will benefit our industrial base," said Dr. Laura Taylor-Kale, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy. "Expanding sources of supply is a key element of the vision articulated in the National Defense Industrial Strategy to help build resilient supply chains." This Open Announcement will significantly speed up the timeline to project awards, bringing critical capabilities to the industrial base faster and supporting the focus areas from Executive Order 14017 on America's Supply Chains.
