Earlier this week, ICUBE's was recognized for its outstanding team work 🥳
In the last couple of years, this campus-linked accelerator has seen incredible growth and continued to introduce new programming in support of underrepresented founders. In this last year alone, ICUBE has supported 125 ventures - 57% of which have at least one female identified founder, and 69% of which are considered social enterprises.
ICUBE has also continued to expand its collaboratively organized Indigenous Entrepreneurship program, and has increased collaborations with organizations that amplify work being done by African entrepreneurs, Black founders, Sustainability-focused ventures, and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Thanks to the support of so many mentors, partners, and work study students, ICUBE is going strong. And of course, this very team consisting of: Ignacio Mongrell, Kayla S., Mohammad Tahvili are all committed to enhancing Entrepreneurship at UTM and beyond. This small but mighty teams loves their work and is excited for more great things ahead.
Lastly: to Ann Armstrong, the fiercest advocate of all, thank you for such amazing wisdom, support, and leadership.
