iGEM Pathways: SynBio for the future was hosted by Abrar Hasan, iGEM Promoter for Asia and Oceania, and Showmick Paul, iGEM Rochester 2022 team member. The event was the first in-person iGEM event in Bangladesh and brought together passionate students and experts to explore the potential of creating a synbio ecosystem in the country starting with creating a national team. This event took place at the BSMRAU (Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University), bringing together enthusiastic students and key figures in synthetic biology for an interactive and inspiring seminar and workshop.
