We start at the very heart of the fuel cell system – the Membrane Electrode Assembly, where electricity is generated from hydrogen and air. Engineered to produce more electricity per square inch, our unique Membrane Electrode Assembly is the first step in packing more power into a smaller package. Wednesday means #WhyHydrogenWednesday – did you know that hydrogen diffuses away at a rate of 20 miles per hour? Dissipating quickly, straight up into the atmosphere, is one of the inherent safety features of hydrogen. Unlike its fossil fuel counterparts, it does not pool outside of its container. Check back next Wednesday to learn more about hydrogen and the safety features this powerful element holds. Follow us for updates and visit hyzonfuelcell.com for more information about our cutting-edge fuel cell technology.

Fueling a hydrogen truck is easy as 1, H2, 3. Like a diesel truck, fuel cell trucks pull up to a pump to refill the fuel tanks they carry on board. In about 15-20 minutes, our fuel cell trucks are ready for another zero emission 350 miles. In comparison to other fuel cell trucks, Hyzon vehicles store on-board hydrogen at 350 bar – the same pressure most fuel cell-powered forklifts and buses use, leading to greater availability and lower prices than the 700 bar alternative. Visit hyzonfuelcell.com for more on our advanced hydrogen technology.

You know what day it is – #WhyHydrogenWednesday! Did you know hydrogen is the most plentiful atom in the universe? In fact, hydrogen makes up 75 percent of all mass in the universe and 90 percent of all atoms in the universe are hydrogen atoms. Hydrogen is also considered one of the simplest elements because it only contains one proton and one electron. Check back next Wednesday to learn more about hydrogen and all the potential it holds.
