We would like to take a minute to announce Jonathan Westfall, Executive Director at ROCovery Fitness, as the recipient of this year's George Huther, Jr. Memorial Award. Jon's unwavering commitment to those in recovery is truly inspiring. Through his dedication to fitness, he not only strengthens bodies but also empowers minds, showing that physical wellness is intertwined with mental resilience. His passion and empathy make him a beacon of hope for individuals navigating the journey towards healing. Jon identifies as a person in long-term recovery himself and just celebrated 7 years of sobriety. He will be the first one to say that it has taken him decades to get there. Jon’s journey with ROCovery Fitness started as being a Volunteer. He is now the proud Executive Director where he continues to be an excellent leader, peer, role model and inspiration to us all.
