Jadeen Cunningham, CNA was awarded the BEE Award this quarter. The BEE award stands for “Be Extraordinary Every day”; recognizing team members that go above and beyond to provide excellent care. This award was created because similarly to how a DAISY would not be able to grow and flourish without the help of the BEE, our nurses could not do what they do for our patients on a daily basis without the wonderful teamwork of other healthcare professionals. The DAISY Foundation Jadeen has worked as a CNA for almost 5 years. Multiple patients and peers recognized her for the exceptional care she provides daily. Her peers say “She strives to encourage her patients to push toward their rehab goals and molds her care for each individual. She is an absolute dream to work with.” Congratulations Jadeen!

Our patient gardening group, with generous support from members of the Kensington Garden Club, created these stunning floral arrangements for our Donor Recognition and Annual Meeting Reception last week. This impactful form of therapeutic recreation helps patients improve memory, cognitive abilities, task initiation, language skills and provides socialization with others. These centerpieces are always loved by event attendees and are a beautiful way to show our community that together we strengthen, we heal, and we rebuild.
