We've partnered with some amazing companies to connect Web2 + Web3 identities on Bitcoin. Learn more about the .locker announcement below 👇
Today we're thrilled to unveil .locker, Your domain + digital identity. We're launching this fall, and excited to share a preview today 👇 .locker has two components: a domain name and a digital identity secured on the Bitcoin blockchain. Digital identities will shape the next wave of the internet – and it all starts with a domain name. .locker is the first .tld from Orange Domains, a joint venture between Trust Machines, Tucows, Hiro Systems, and DISH, an EchoStar company. Owning a .locker gives you a premium domain name plus interoperability with Bitcoin to trade, hold, and manage all your digital assets. .locker functions similarly to an NFT, secured by #Bitcoin, enabling anyone to build a website, send an email, secure finances, and more. From freelance designers to writers and small businesses, .locker provides a solution that connects customer acquisition through payments and security for domain owners. Manage your business and receive payments with the same address! .locker domains and Web3 digital identity can be renewed at the users' registrar of record where your domain is currently managed. We're proud to share our current roster of registrar partners—with many more to come! The .locker initial launch phase is exclusively for trademark holders registered with @tmchinfo before opening to early access and the general public in September. Follow us to be notified of the public launch coming this fall! More info: my.locker

Sometimes you just want to open up a tab, write a bit of code, and see if it runs. That’s why we built Clarity Playground, an online REPL environment where you can write and run Clarity code in the browser. With Clarity Playground, you can easily execute Clarity snippets and contracts from the browser, as well as share those snippets with others. It’s a great resource for learning Clarity, helping you get familiar with syntax, functions, and best practices. Try it out for yourself here: https://play.hiro.so/

Whether you're preparing for a hackathon or building an app, you'll eventually need on-chain data. With chainhooks, you can create lightweight databases of on-chain events and receive notifications when changes are made to your database in real-time. We’re hosting a webinar on Tues, 6/4 at 10am PT to walk you through how to set up your first chainhook. Forget about indexing the entire blockchain; just focus on the information you need. The new Signer page in the Stacks Explorer looks magical. You can now view total Signers, voting power and STX stacked. Signers are part of the Nakamoto upgrade. Previously referred to as Stackers, Signers will participate in the Stacks protocol by signing mined blocks. In the current Nakamoto instantiation phase, Nakamoto rules are inactive while Signers onboard. Check out the page for yourself here: https://lnkd.in/gGXTr7rQ
