Well, our CEO Neil Costa was right on the money when he predicted that there would be big consolidations among job boards at the start of the year.   Check out this article in SHRM by ROY MAURER that outlines the Monster and CareerBuilder merger, including our two cents from Neil!     “The news makes sense for both Monster and CareerBuilder,” he said. “These are two legacy brands who have lost their way a bit. HireClix annual candidate experience survey revealed some surprising insights: 🤔 56% of candidates don't believe their social media affects their job prospects 📱 37% keep their profiles private 👀 19% think employers aren't looking But here's the kicker: 1 in 3 candidates DO see a connection between their online presence and their career. What are they worried about? 15% - Professionalism 13% - Overall social media presence 5% - Political views And let's not forget: 11% of respondents don't use social media at all!     From Swipes to Job Offers: Are Dating Apps Right for Recruitment? Dating sites are slowly venturing into the realm of networking and recruitment advertising, but this crossover may not always be well received. Only a small percentage of respondents had seen job advertisements on platforms such as Bumble Bizz (1%) or traditional dating apps/sites (2%). Nearly half (47%) of respondents disagreed with the notion of dating apps serving as a viable job search alternative with 28% open to the idea and 25% not having dating apps.
