This year, we celebrated Team Member Appreciation Week with specialty food stations – including build-your-own crepes, made-to-order omelets, French macarons and all-day brews. The highlight of the week centered around the Olympics, surrounding Hilton Austin’s #team with the spirit of blue energy while encouraging some friendly competition. #EarthWeek presents Hilton's Team Members with the perfect opportunity to serve as stewards of their local communities while also inviting guests and visitors from all over the country and the world to #TravelWithPurpose. This year, a dedicated group of volunteers from our hotel showed up to support the Central Texas Food Bank, a non-profit organization that has led the fight against hunger for over 40 years. Gearing up to serve our neighbors at a mobile pantry at the Onion Creek Soccer Complex, Hilton Austin's team distributed essential food supplies while spreading the light and warmth of hospitality among 300 local families in need. On January 5, 2004, Hilton Austin held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening its doors to locals and visitors from all over the world.
