So, today we had a person retire from HPM. - He didn’t want his picture taken and I respect that. I started working with him when I was 13. - I was mowing the lawn, and I’d do it as fast as I could so I could go work in shipping. He was 24??? At the time, and we worked together along with others. As time went on, he started training. Trained to become a turret setup. - Then advanced to Turret A. Hansman Industries, our Dads company, was sold and we both went to work for the new owners. When we, my brothers and I left, we started HPM. This guy was employee number 15/16??? At HPM. He was our first turret setup and eventually became the turret lead that lead a room of seven turrets. Only us in the industry know what that means, but it is a big accomplishment. As time went on and a fellow Hansman dude retired, he took over half of our laser systems. Today was his last day as a coworker. “Visit whenever you want” “Need to make something? Come on in and do it.” It takes a team It takes a culture It takes friends in business for each other. His retirement gift? At his request, one of the most unique massage/reclining/TV remote chairs I have ever seen. - What he wanted 😎😎😎 Thank you to my coworker, my friend, and the guy that used to mess with me when I was 13. #team #familybusiness #manufacturing

Today Santa made the drop at HPM. - 2 Amada 14 foot, 240 ton press brakes. They are an “in addition” to our fleet. We were 24, now 26. We range from 4 feet to 14 feet.
