The new gardens at the Natural History Museum are opening tomorrow! Thanks to #NationalLottery players, we have supported the five-acre site with £4.9m, transforming it into an accessible, free-to-visit green space in the heart of London.
Delighted to have attended and spoken at Natural History Museum's new gardens yesterday alongside colleagues at The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Fern! The gardens are opening to the public tomorrow, following a major #NationalLottery award and definitely worth a visit to explore, rest and connect with urban nature.

Funding news! A rare medieval carving of the Deposition from the Cross has been saved. We’ve awarded a £700,000 grant to the Victoria and Albert Museum, alongside support from the Art Fund, to save the rare 12th-century walrus ivory carving, which is heralded as one of the finest and most important examples of English Romanesque ivory carving to survive today.
