About us
Heritage Conservancy’s mission is to protect and care for the lands of our region, to engage with and share the history that unfolded on these lands, and to connect people with both. We partner with landowners, businesses, governments, schools, and mission-focused organizations to protect and care for the land and natural resources that are critical to our wellness and the health and future of our planet. We have helped in the preservation of more than 16,000 acres of open spaces, farmland, wildlife habitat, and important watershed areas in Bucks, Montgomery, and Northampton Counties. We recognized more than 700 historic structures on our Register of Historic Places. Our community outreach and education programs connect more than 2,500 people of all ages with nature each year.

“Each project is nuanced and never exactly the same as the last. That’s what keeps the work interesting and challenging, and motivates me to develop creative ways to make projects happen.” Meet our VP.

Imagine if all companies did this! As I type this, a group of volunteers from Penn Community Bank is helping us seed a pollinator meadow and working to plant native trees and plants in a nearby preserve. This is a powerful way to support the community!
