This month, Annie Evans, RN, BSN, Emily Downs, Dawn Serrilli and Bridget Graham, MBAH, PMP were busy at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado preparing for this hospital's patient move on August 3rd, 2024.   In planning to move all patients by ambulance, HTS, An HBS Company develops a patient-centered plan that outlines the logistics of safely transporting patients from the existing facility to the new. Our team engages with each host department, as well as a compliment of ancillary departments within the organization to identify the support needed for inpatient units that are moving. During the first Mock Move, our team collaborated with the client and EMS team to walk through the paths of travel and logistics required to safely move patients into the new facility. We are excited to continue working with LMC's team to validate the approach and retest the move plan next month!
