In response to Hurricane Beryl, Precinct 2 is actively working towards a complete recovery before the next storm event. A few distribution events will take place this weekend to distribute essential supplies such as water, MREs, and hot meals to assist our community. We are looking for volunteers to help with the distribution events on Saturday, July 13th, and Sunday, July 14th. The need is significant, as many are still without power, and volunteers would be greatly appreciated. HASC locations in Pasadena (HQ) and Mid-Coast (Port Lavaca) will be open July 9 for normal business hours. HASC Texas City will have a delayed open at 10 AM. HASC Baytown will be closed July 9 as we clean and assess damage. Live Online Proctoring (LOP) remains available from 6 AM - 6 PM CST for Safety Essentials and other courses.
