Harvard Summer School

I completed a course at Harvard on "The Science of Well-being and Happiness."☺️ The curriculum was based on three pillars: 1. Personal well-being 2. Well-being within organizations 3. Practice and case studies We covered topics such as happiness measurement, neuroscience, cognitive biases, positive psychology, habit formation, mis-wanting and better wanting, flow, corporate culture, frontier cases, Chief Happiness Officer, intrinsic motivation, and leadership. The class was highly international. My classmates came from diverse backgrounds including business owners, doctors, management consultants, finance, public administration, HR, lawyers, psychology, and education🌏 Discussing with them broadened my perspective. The video features a mock presentation on introducing the roles of Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) and Chief Well-being Officer (CWO) in companies👩🏫 Before going, I was anxious about taking classes in English at Harvard, but I ended up enjoying every moment. I immersed myself in reading and learning, and the professor rated my performance 95 out of 100! ＊＊＊ I also achieved my goals of introducing ZenEating at Harvard and holding a meditation club on Harvard Yard🧘 In the final essay, two classmates mentioned they wanted to incorporate Zen Eating that I taught them into their lives. ＊＊ I’m happy to share my knowledge and experiences on well-being. One of the blessings of my life is having the opportunity to teach in the Harvard Summer School Pre-College Program each summer. 25 incredibly bright, talented, precocious high school students travel from around the world to the spectacular Harvard University campus to take my #Entrepreneurship course. Now two weeks in, I held an extended “Ask Me Anything” session today with most of the cohort. The sophistication of the questions was just so impressive. Look forward to the next one. What a great journey for some of our undergraduate students! I was thrilled to accompany them for the kick-off of their Harvard Summer School course and first year collaboration 🤝 🙏 Merci to the HSS team Nancy Coleman, Ed.D., Sandra Naddaff, Thomas Garriepy and Kathleen Rodriguez Dietzel for the amazing welcome. In a former life you most definitely were in the #HospitalityIndustry 🏫 The campus is spectacular! How could one not be impressed by the beautiful Annenberg Hall dining facility, I kept trying to spot Harry Potter somewhere. 🎨 It was wonderful to witness such a vibrant, diverse community of motivated and distinguished faculty satisfying intellectual curiosity. Students are surrounded by a caring organization team and can explore the many facets of Harvard University. If I have one message for our EHL Hospitality Business School students, it would be to challenge themselves academically 💪, learn from experts 🔍, make the most out of this US college experience 🌱, advance in their careers 📈, and pursue personal enrichment ✨. And above all, have fun! So grateful for my experience at Harvard Summer School's Pre-College program this summer. For the past 2 weeks I have had the pleasure of taking a course about climate change while also getting to emerse myself in the wonderful opportunities, activities and ressources offered by the program. I absolutely loved meeting people from around the world and this experienced has truly opened my eyes to the many different opportunities and pathways that lie ahead.

🌟 Exciting News 🌟 I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Management Consulting course at Harvard Summer School! 🎓 This incredible experience has provided me with an in-depth overview of the management consulting industry. We explored the structure of the industry, examined the competitive strategies of various firms, and delved into key strategic and organizational issues. Throughout the course, we honed essential problem-solving, communication, and client relation skills that are necessary for success in the industry. We also discussed the various career paths in management consulting and addressed the ethical issues that consultants face. A special thank you to my professor, Mukul Kumar, for the exceptional lessons that have enriched my interest and growth in this field. Your engaging teaching methods, the amazing guest speakers you brought in, and the way you challenged our views on the industry have been truly inspiring. I am also immensely grateful for the overall learning environment and support from everyone at Harvard. Additionally, I had the best time exploring the beautiful city of Boston and its vibrant culture. This course has not only equipped me with new skills but has also deepened my passion for management consulting. I am excited to apply what I’ve learned and continue growing in this field.
