This summer, HSA's senior management team will be taking part in the annual Externship Program, and we are looking for partners. The Externship Program is an opportunity for our student leaders to work at an outside firm and explore their interests, hopefully gaining a clearer sense of what they might want to pursue upon graduation. As an externship partner, you would host one (or more) of our managers for one week at your firm while HSA covers their pay and living accommodations. Every externship is different - past partners have delegated week-long projects to managers and others have simply had managers shadow a current employee. Regardless of the assignment, HSA’s goal is that every one of our managers enjoys a transformative learning experience. Please reach out to christopher.doyle@mail.hsa.net if you are interested in participating.

On the evening of Saturday, October 21st, Harvard Student Agencies hosted a heartfelt celebration to honor Jim McKellar, our dedicated former CEO and General Manager, who retired after 16 years of remarkable service to the world's largest student-run company. The event, attended by family, friends, and current members, featured a delightful blend of cocktails, dinner, and lively entertainment. It was a fitting tribute to Jim's enduring commitment and dedication to our organization. Christopher Doyle, FY24 President of HSA, had a few words to say about the impact Jim has on him: "To know Jim is to love Jim. It’s hard to put into words how much Jim means to the 16 years of HSAers he worked with during his tenure at 67 Mt. Auburn and the impact he’s had on me and my life. A day didn’t go by where Jim didn’t teach me something new about business, leadership, and how to treat people. I never want to graduate from HSA, but when that time comes, I aspire to be half the colleague and friend at my first job that Jim’s been to all of us. He’s one of my biggest role models" Thank You, Jim! We wish you a retirement filled with joy and fulfillment. #harvardstudentagencies #family #harvard #thankyou
