We undertake projects all over the world, but this one was unique! In 2007, Hanson's Jeff Tatarek in Springfield, Illinois, received an urgent email from the North Carolina National Guard's 105th Engineer Battalion stationed in Iraq. An explosive device had severely damaged a pair of bridges on a major highway near Tikrit, 80 miles north of Baghdad.
