We are excited to announce our oversubscribed $150 million Venture Fund I! Collectively with our inaugural $200 million seed fund, Venture Fund I gives Hack VC $350 million in aggregate commitments across the firm’s first two funds, and brings our total assets under management to approximately $425 million. Hack VC raised Venture Fund I opportunistically in the bear market to invest in companies and protocols gaining traction and offering asymmetrical upside. The firm has already invested approximately one-third of the fund in early-stage projects building the infrastructure necessary to make web3 mainstream. We don’t believe in narratives. Instead, we are thesis-driven and invest with fundamental conviction. These theses include web3 infrastructure security, capital efficiency and real-world DeFi and the intersection of web3 and generative AI. Our mission is clear: to support the founders who are building the critical infrastructure needed to take web3 mainstream from their earliest days. And this fund is an important step to that end.
