Congratulations to Exploration Place on breaking ground for a transformational vision. The Destination Playscape, set to open in the fall of 2025, will be a $25-million outdoor experiential playground covering 6.5 acres of land on the southwest bank of the Arkansas river. This visionary expansion is a great example of how Wichita organizations come together to elevate the quality of life for our community.

At the Greater Wichita Partnership, we align resources and focus the business community on common strategies that fast-forward economic growth in Wichita and throughout the 10-county region. The focus of our work is centered around three strategic priorities – jobs, talent and quality of place. These priorities are shaped by the three highly detailed, research-driven plans that were developed in 2018: the Regional Growth Plan, Talent Marketing Blueprint and Project Wichita. The new direction also takes into account the master plan for downtown’s development, Project Downtown. Affiliate brands include Downtown Wichita, Choose Wichita and the Air Capital of the World.
