The Greater Waco Chamber is a volunteer-driven business organization that serves as an economic development force attracting jobs and investment. The organization opened the first green Chamber building in America on June 6, 2008, to serve as the marketing headquarters for Greater Waco. The building aspires to be the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-certified building in Greater Waco.

Congratulations to our 40th Leadership Waco Class! 🎉 This week, we hosted a luncheon to celebrate the graduates. During the lunch, class representative Iyan Laylor reflected on his time in the program and the impact it's had on his life and the community. He discussed the class project, which raised $20,000 to build a basketball court and playground at Isaiah 117 House. In addition to fundraising, the class volunteered their time and spent a day assembling patio furniture, organizing the supply closet and more!
