Each year we rely upon the expertise and lived experience of residents within our community to help inform the grantmaking that we do through our Reasons for Hope MKE Fund. This year, our community advisory council recommended 45 proposals for a total of more than $411,000. Grants ranged from $2,000 to $10,000 and supported projects and programs this summer that promoted community building, unity and outreach, social-emotional learning, health and wellness, and mentoring to youth and young adults. We've got an incredibly talented Marketing and Communications Department to help us share the stories of generosity and impact that happen every day at the Foundation. We're just as fortunate to have a Marketing and Communications Committee to help inform our work. We recently welcomed Katie Newcomb to that group and we're excited for her perspective and insights! https://lnkd.in/gMmnUFQt
