On this day in 1979, we opened our doors in Vinita to begin seeing clients as Northeast Oklahoma Human Development Services. Since then, we’ve covered thousands of miles, grown from operating in 7 counties to 13, vastly expanded services & programming, rebranded twice and continued to fight for access to quality mental health treatment for Oklahomans in need. And, WE. WON’T. STOP. Here’s to 45 years of providing innovative services to Northeast and Northcentral Oklahoma and the many more years to come! We’re here for you, just like we’ve always been. #onthisday #Oklahoma #mentalhealthservices #makingcommunitiesthrive #leadingchangeadvancingcare

To provide more accessible, innovative care to families in need of mental health support, GRAND Mental Health’s Brief Stay Therapeutic Home is here to fill that gap. The brief stay helps families receive the resources and help they need in a home environment. With family behavioral health professionals on hand, they monitor family interactions and provide real-time guidance and support, better preparing families to engage differently on their own moving forward. With 82 families having gone through this program, 100% reported improved hope 30 days after their stay. When one hurts, we all hurt, which is why GRAND Mental Health will gladly step up to give families the quality care they deserve. #briefstayhome #therapeutichome #accessibility #care #makingcommunitiesthrive

We were honored to be joined by Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue and Animal Rescue Foundation of Tulsa at a recent staff event. The only thing better than spending time with other Tulsa area non-profits making a difference, is doing it with puppies and kittens there, too! #pawsitive #differencemakers #thrive #makingcommunitiesthrive

Recently, our Individual Placement & Support Program Manager Karla Jones joined industry partners and leaders of the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) program at the 2024 IPS International Learning Community Annual Meeting. The IPS program helps with job placement, education, and sometimes both. GRAND’s specialists work with clients’ schedules and help them reach their personal and professional goals. At this meeting, GRAND Mental Health was able to share recovery stories and research findings. One of GRAND Mental Health’s updates shared at this meeting was that we have placed over half of our IPS enrolled clients in work, school, or both in the month of April. We care deeply for our clients and look forward to growing and advancing our care for Oklahomans. #jobplacement #SupportProgram #ips #recoverysupport #thrive
