This #MissionMonday we’re celebrating the most recent cohort of GoodWorks retail job skills training students on their successful completion of the program. Congratulations Siani B, Owen L., Navian C., Conor G., and Alex L.!! It was our pleasure to have you and learn from you as you learned with us. We know you’ll go on to do great things with the skills and experience you’ve acquired. You have our best wishes as you move on to the next chapter in your careers, and you’ll always have a home at Goodwill! If you are a parent or caregiver of a teen or young adult with special needs who would like to participate in this hands-on paid work experience, please call us at 302-761-4640. The summer cohort is scheduled to begin at our Wilmington, DE location on June 24! Students learn and work alongside a Goodwill instructor in our retail settings. Course topics include digital skills, sales, retail sorting, processing and sorting, self-advocacy, durable skills and career exploration/connecting to employment.
