About us
We believe everyone deserves affordable and convenient healthcare. Our mission is to build better ways for people to find the right care at the best price. Our technology gives all Americans — regardless of income or insurance status — the knowledge, choice, and care they need to stay healthy. GoodRx supports all Americans with their healthcare challenges. Since 2011, we’ve helped Americans save over $35 billion on prescriptions via savings cards, our website, and the GoodRx app, which is one of the most downloaded medical apps on both the Google Play and Apple App Store. We’re a customer-first company. That means making sure all our products and features are built around you. This approach guides how we operate, make decisions across our businesses, and work on new ideas for our customers. In 2021, an estimated 46 million U.S. adults were not able to afford needed care. We’re working to narrow this access gap. We have saved Americans over $30 billion on their medications.

Many Americans are caught in a “Big Pinch” as insurance plans — both Medicare and commercial — cover fewer medications and add more restrictions on coverage. Over the past decade, consumers have also taken on an increasing share of medication costs due to higher deductibles, copays, and coinsurance. Requiring 8-9 prescription medications per day, the costs of managing Hashimoto’s disease were quickly adding up for Monica. She often found herself having to choose between affording her own medications and necessities for her children. The first time she used GoodRx, she was able to save $700, and she continues to save around $1,700 a month! Now Monica doesn’t have to choose between her medications, putting food on her family's table, and allowing her children to be involved in extracurricular activities. Helping Monica—and millions of other GoodRx users— save on their prescriptions is what we're all about. Check out GoodRx and see if you can save. goodrx.co/goodstories

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news about the first point-of-sale (POS), cash buydown program for a #biosimilar on the GoodRx platform! GoodRx and Boehringer Ingelheim announced today a patient affordability initiative to provide citrate-free Adalimumab-adbm, Boehringer’s biosimilar to Humira® (adalimumab), at a low cash price available on GoodRx. This program is a significant step in addressing access and affordability in autoimmune conditions, one of the largest therapeutic categories with a high-cost burden for patients. In addition to over 35 other retail and specialty medications, we started offering a low cash price for a popular #insulin last fall, and we’re excited to expand into biosimilars to continue to help consumers find more affordable ways to access the treatments they need. According to a survey conducted by the GoodRx Research team, 32% of Americans had a prescription sent to the pharmacy that was ultimately not filled. The most common reason for not filling the medication was cost, followed by forgetting to pick the medication up, the medication being out of stock, and the inability to get to the pharmacy in time. Take a deeper dive into our research findings here: #medication #prescriptions #prescriptioncosts
