About us

The heart of any community is its people. For more than 85 years, our commitment to our customers and the communities we serve has remained steadfast, going far beyond offering great food, selection and low prices. We’re also proud to lend our support to many charitable organizations and events that make a real difference in the community, and it’s why we say, “We’re not just in your neighborhood, we’re your neighbor.” We donate funds, in-kind and promotional support to national, regional, and grassroots causes, from Feeding America and Disabled American Veterans to local fairs and festivals, collegiate and youth sports teams, and free ticket printing and free cups and napkins for fundraisers. We see strength in diversity, and we celebrate the multiformity that makes our community stronger. We lend our support to cultural happenings, urban community programs, and events that promote the exchange of cultures that brings us closer together. The Golub Family, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation have all been recognized for their service to the community, including national, regional and local awards for fundraising, philanthropy and excellence in giving.

  • Last week was one for the books. We cut ribbons at four Market 32 grand openings!! Albany, Colonie, Niskayuna, and North Greenbush locations (NY) all opened on the same day and the community couldn't have given us a more energized welcome. A huge thank you to the store, corporate and warehouse teams that worked tirelessly to make these special events a success. The stores are all beautiful and we're proud of what we can offer to our guests in service, products and experience within these neighborhoods. #congratulations #onthegrow #teamwork #grandopening

  • Feed Our Vets in Utica NY has been providing free food assistance to veterans, active-duty military, and their families since 2009. To further its mission to help veterans and their families, whose circumstances have left them “on the battlefield” of hunger, North Utica store Co-Manager Gary Kozlowski and Zone Director Kurtis Clark recently presented Utica Pantry Director Joseph Ancona with a $1,000 gift card to help stock the shelves.

  • While renovating one of its Little League fields, Lansingburgh Youth Sports found it was in need of funds to cover the cost of the infield mix (the soil used to create the surface of a baseball field). Price Chopper/Market 32 was happy to step in and provide support. Zone Director Jason Weber (L) and Brunswick, NY store Co-Manager Santia Lind (R) recently presented a check for $1,000 to Allison Mahar, purchasing agent for Lansingburgh Little League, who was accompanied by players Mason Mahar and Nathan Koealevich.

  • A big thank you to our customers and Freihofer’s Baking Co.! During the months of March and April, with every purchase of select Freihofer’s products, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Freihofer’s each donated $.05 cents to the Parkinson's Foundation. Over $18,000 was raised to help advance research, improve care, and propel us toward a cure for Parkinson’s, a disease affecting nearly one million people in the U.S. and their families.   Pictured here, Store Manager Myles Johnson (left) and food court manager Lorie Skoda, (second from right) present a check to Adrienne Casano of the Parkinson’s Foundation (second from left) and Marie Thorne of Help for Parkinson’s (right) at our Clifton Shoppers World store.
