Please join us in welcoming our newest team member Halee Wildman. Halee has accepted the Director of Social Services position. Halee is from beautiful Gilmer County and graduated from Glenville State College in 2020 with a degree in Behavioral Science. Halee has spent the last 4 years at Highland Psychiatric Hospital. She is passionate about helping people and her experience and compassion for the elderly made this the perfect opportunity. Halee has a handsome one year old little boy and enjoys walking and cooking. She is very excited to start this new adventure. Welcome Halee!!!

Glenville Health and Rehabilitation is ecstatic to announce our new Environmental Service Director, Kelly Radcliff. Kelly is married to Robert Radcliff and they have 2 kids and 5 grandchildren. In Kelly's free time, you can find her camping and spending time with her grandkids. Kelly loves working with the senior population and has a vast amount of experience doing so. Her work at the Senior Center and the State of West Virginia for Senior Services shows the love she has for this population. She most recently was the manager at Tudors. With Kelly's experience as a manager and working with the senior population, she is destined to be a great addition to the team. Welcome Kelly!

Today has been full of yummy goodness at Glenville Health and Rehabilitation. We had a food truck available and it is now that time of the month to celebrate our July birthdays! We had several residents and staff come to the birthday party. Thank you, Glenda Schimmel, for your fantastic cakes, we always look forward to them!

It's always nice when Elaina Goldsmith stops by from WV Caring. Yesterday on the agenda was a car wash. Now this was no typical car wash, but did it ever reveal some smiles and shiny wheels. Thank you, Elaina and Tasha, for all the fun help!!!

We would like everyone to join us in wishing Mabel Talbott happy birthday! Mabel's daughter Debra brought in cake and deviled eggs for everyone to enjoy the celebration of Mabel turning 93. Happy Birthday Mabel!!!!

We are very excited to be hosting "Food Truck Friday" this Friday 07/12/2024. Fatboy's BBQ & Catering will set up in the parking lot at Glenville Health & Rehab to offer a different option in Gilmer County. We speak from experience when we say, "you won't be disappointed"! Come on out for a tasteful treat. See you Friday!!!

Saturday night the residents at Glenville Health and Rehab enjoyed getting to sit back and watch an old-fashioned fireworks display. What could make this night even better you may wonder....Pizza was the icing on the cake. Thank you to Tina Key for providing the Little Caesar's Pizza and a tremendous thank you to Katrina and Rob Jones for the fireworks display invitation and the location to bring the residents. The residents had a great time. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.

Kenneth Bourne was admitted to our facility on May 23, 2024, following surgery. When Kenneth first came, he was not able to put any weight on his leg and began Physical and Occupational Therapy. He quickly mastered the skills and met both short- and long-term goals. He was happy to go home today, July 8th, with his daughter and grandsons. Thank you, Kenneth, for being a positive influence on our long-term and newly admitted residents by having them agree to participate in rehabilitation! That influence will help improve their lives just like it has yours!
