Glass Solutions, Inc. is a regional commercial glazing contractor, primarily focusing on exterior facades, tenant improvements and specialty glazing on new, existing, and renovated building projects. The GSI mission is to be an elite specialty contractor and trade partner in the construction industry. We emphasize client satisfaction and core company values. In 2019, Glass Solutions, Inc. reached an important milestone celebrating 20 years in business. Additionally, Glass Solutions, Inc. ranked 29th in Glass Magazine’s 2023 Top 50 Contract Glaziers and was also named "Best Company to Work For" in the industry by USGlass Magazine in 2022. We started Glass Solutions, Inc. so that we could share, provide, and create long lasting relationships with our exciting and innovative glasswork. The senior partners who started Glass Solutions, Inc. had more than sixty years’ experience in the glass industry. We are dedicated to being one of the Chicago area's premier glazing companies, and we have the knowledge and experience necessary to address a wide range of projects. Our 100,000+/- square foot facility has fabrication capabilities, so we can manufacture items and deliver them to project sites. Many thanks to our friends at Glass Solutions Inc. in Itasca, IL for taking the time to teach Turner Chicago’s summer interns about curtain wall systems they assemble, deliver, and install on so many amazing projects. I've worked on several projects with GSI over the years and feel they are one of Chicago's best family-owned contractors! For me, it was very interesting to see how their facility and assembly process have both similarities and differences to other manufacturing facilities I’ve visited for the products that SourceBlue procures. Congratulations GSI Team on another NorthShore University HealthSystem GEM!!!! Special thank you to our GSI glaziers: Israel Cabral Sr, Brian Lockhart, and their crew, as well as our GSI shop crew: David Austin, Marcin Galdyn, and their team. Everyone did a great job – the new additions look awesome! Not to mention all of the interior glass, specialty glass (heavy glass doors, sidelights, blind glass units, lead/fire rated blinds/seal windows), sliders, new 4th floor ICU CW exterior windows, all new interior specialty glass, break metal, aluminum panels, and miles of custom painted aluminum copings!!!
