Rachel Johnson, President + CEO at APEX, took part in the U.S. Clean Hydrogen Delegation last month in Gothenburg, Sweden. Learning from iron ore and steel decarbonization leaders, like H2 Green Steel and SSAB, was a unique opportunity to uncover ways for Minnesota to implement decarbonization processes and reach its net zero goals, as well as drive economic development. We’re proud to have Giant clients like APEX, who are working with and learning from global leaders to improve Minnesota's future.

We recently worked with the exceptional team at Story North Productions (a long-term Giant Voices partner!) to create a new TV commercial for Giant client, Johnson Mertz Appliance! From planning, storyboarding and script writing to shooting, directing and post-production, we had an absolute blast collaborating with SNP to create this video. Watch it below!

Meet Sam, a Giant Client Leader at Giant Voices! 🧡 Between managing projects from start to finish, helping clients actualize their visions and executing strategic campaigns, Sam is the true embodiment of our Giant values. What does the typical day at Giant Voices look like for you? 📅 It may sound cliché, but no day at Giant Voices looks the same! On any given day I could be attending a conference, pitching a news story, writing a creative brief, executing a campaign or working on budgets. What is your favorite client project you’ve worked on and why? 📖 My favorite client project I have worked on is Think Wood's Mass Timber Design Manual. The process of putting it together was fun, and the end product was beautiful! What do you like to do in your free time? 🏌️ I fill up my free time with friends and family! With them I like to hike, visit a local brewery, walk dogs at the animal shelter and play golf. What do you most enjoy about your job? 🧡 Seeing a project through, like an annual report or a seasonal campaign, from start to finish.

Did you see some of our Giants running around Duluth on Tuesday? 🏃🧡 Maddie, Hailey, Amanda and Marlena participated in The Great Duluth Race, hosted by Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce and Fuse Duluth! A unique team-building experience, racers ventured around Lincoln Park, Canal Park and Downtown Duluth to fulfill creative missions. A huge thank you to the many sponsors of the race, like Cirrus, ShelDon, Lum, Kern and Kompany, Duluth Children's Museum, Visit Duluth, Duluth Tap Exchange, The YMCA, Duluth Art Institute and the Nordic Center, who hosted our Giants in each of their business spaces!
