  • Today we recognize Pride Day across our country, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community! LGBTQIA stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. The + sign represents the broad array of sexualities, genders, and experiences that exist. Generations is proud to be a health center that provides gender-affirming care. Our clinicians in both our medical and behavioral health departments are trained in these areas. We offer gender-affirming hormone therapy at our Willimantic/Putnam/Danielson medical departments, and our Behavioral Health locations can also provide supportive services. 🏳️🌈 #PrideDay #LGBTQIA #InclusiveHealthcare

  • The employees at Generations Family Health Center value the equality and freedom of all persons, and reflect those values with their own words, as shown below. In recognition of Juneteenth, and the abolition of enslavement of African Americans on this day in 1865, our staff lifted their voices in the name of FREEDOM by creating posters highlighting what FREEDOM means to them. These insightful and powerful pieces of art hang at each Generations location, where employees answered the question: “What does FREEDOM mean to you?”
