We were delighted to welcome Boston Fed President and CEO Susan M. Collins to our Lawrence, Mass. facility. During her visit, Collins toured our design, manufacturing, and quality control operations, and engaged in meaningful discussions with local employers about the economic and workforce challenges we face. Her insightful speech at The Lawrence Partnership's 2024 annual meeting underscored the critical role of collaboration in driving community progress. Celebrating Teamwork and Achievement! 🎉 Our National Sales Meeting at Gemline's Lawrence office was a fantastic success! The event brought together our dedicated Gemline team and valued Brand Partners. We celebrated our achievements, bonded through team-building activities, and enjoyed compelling brand stories. 🌎 On Earth Day, we're shedding light on Gemline's Betterway™ CSR initiatives, focusing on the Planet. In 2023, our efforts made a significant impact: ☀️ Solar: Our Lawrence, MA HQ generated 39% of its power needs with solar. 🌱 Carbon Footprint: Reduced by 14.5%, cutting greenhouse gas emissions. 🌳 Carbon Offsets: Partnered with One Tree Planted to conserve 1,730 acres of forests. 🚛 Carbon Neutral Program: Offset 505.6 metric tons of CO2, equal to 110 cars' annual emissions. 📦 Packaging: Shifted to eco-friendly materials, reducing waste by 42%. ♻️ Zero Landfill Facility: Converted 225.52 tons of waste into electricity, recycling 293.86 tons of cardboard.
