We develop mission critical solutions for those that lead, serve and protect the world we live in.
About us
At General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, we develop mission critical C4ISR solutions across the land, sea, air, space and cyber domains, but that doesn’t tell our whole story. When downed pilots are isolated in enemy territory, our equipment gives them a lifeline to call home. When a student opens a textbook to learn about the universe, they’re looking at data and pictures sent using our technology. When the government needs to share crucial top-secret information, our products help them keep this information out of the wrong hands. When sailors need to locate underwater mines, our technology allows them to find explosives with unmanned underwater vehicles. Delivering C4ISR technology is what we do but we think why we do it is more important.

Join us for a virtual celebration of #NationalInternDay. At all our facilities across the U.S. we recognize and celebrate the unique and special contributions our interns make in the company. Many interns say they are inspired by their time with us. However, often the interns inspire US during their tenure here! Like Ashley, a Wichita State University engineering student and engineering intern out of our Pittsfield, MA location who offers a little #MiddayMotivation for us all. Do you have a piece of advice for our interns? Leave a comment below! ⬇️ #InternPrograms #EngineeringInterns #SummerInternships #InternshipsInSTEM

This week at Indian Ocean Defence & Security (IODS) we exhibited alongside General Dynamics Electric Boat, demonstrating our commitment to providing security throughout the Indo-Pacific region. We’re here with Admiral Lisa Franchetti in the U.S. Pavilion (C12A), sharing our expertise in the design, construction, and life-cycle support of submarines and unmatched excellence in developing, deploying, and maintaining high consequence undersea systems.

Tomorrow is #HireAVeteran Day. We know veterans offer a multitude of diverse skillsets and expertise like: ✅ Leadership and Teamwork: Veterans often have extensive experience in leadership roles and are well-versed in the dynamics of teamwork. Their military training has prepared them to take charge when necessary, and they understand how to work cohesively with a diverse group of individuals to accomplish objectives. ✅ Discipline and Work Ethic: Veterans are known for their strong discipline and work ethic. They have been trained to approach tasks with a high level of dedication and to complete their missions with precision. This translates well into the civilian workforce, where they can apply the same level of commitment to their careers. ✅ Technical Skills and Adaptability: Many veterans have hands-on experience with advanced technology and have operated in some of the most challenging environments. All this experience can be invaluable, especially in a company like General Dynamics Mission Systems. Additionally, their ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations is an asset in an industry that is constantly evolving.
