Instructor Inner View: "It's all about quality." If you've ever been fortunate enough to attend one of Aaron Varney's cannabis service training sessions during our in-person instruction at the Ganjier Campus, you know the level of expertise and insight he delivers, imparting business best practices and techniques like active listening to help students accurately decipher the needs of cannabis customers during various interaction scenarios. Varney, himself a Certified Ganjier, council member, course creator, instructor, and co-owner of Seattle's venerable Dockside Cannabis dispensaries, tends to maintain a low-profile, but recently made a rare media appearance on Leaf Magazines' "Leaf Life" podcast, discussing the Ganjier program's evolution, what constitutes cannabis quality, and creating a better consumption experience. Use the links below to check out this entertaining inside look into the essence of the Ganjier program. Going Forth in July: The Midwest was well represented in Friday's cohort of Certified Ganjier graduates including Minnesota, Ohio and especially the burgeoning market of Michigan. A fire captain, former head counsel for a major global entertainment company, and several dispensary owners, including Vermont's very first licensees, were all part of a dynamic, supportive, tight-knit group that faced a rigorous series of cannabis knowledge, assessment, and service exams. Despite a broad range of ages, locales and professional backgrounds, they all shared one thing in common: They came prepared. And they all came through with flying colors, making them part of an unparalleled global network of cannabis enthusiasts and professionals, preserving and perpetuating the best of cannabis craft, culture and connoisseurship. Congratulations to the July 2024 class of Certified Ganjiers! Learn more about the Ganjier Program and our newest cannabis product course offering at ganjier.com #ganjier #certifiedganjier

Remembering Frenchy: Three years ago today, we lost legendary master hashishin Frenchy Cannoli (7/18/21) Frenchy was instrumental in the development and quality of the Ganjier Certification as a council member, course creator and instructor. We're fortunate that his passion and legacy live on today, not only through his Ganjier course material, teachings and video tutorials, but also through the work of his partner, Kimberly (Madame Cannoli) and his two talented apprentices Lena Burns and Laura Bell, who have now made their own distinct imprint on the hash realm and bring their unique teachings and insight to the concentrate course portion of our new Ganjier Product Specialist program. During the course of filming content for the GPS program, Ganjier director Derek Gilman sat down with Laura to discuss how Frenchy's philosophy, influence and legacy have left an indelible mark on the cannabis field. MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS: Happy 710 to those who celebrate the concentrate! And for those confused by concentrates, you've come to the right place. Today (7/10) marks 710, which is widely considered in the cannabis community to be a holiday for consuming cannabis oil products, including dabs and concentrates. The number 710 when inverted spells OIL, a word used to describe cannabis products that are highly potent (hash oil, shatter, wax, resin, etc.) These are all totally different and unique cannabis product types that are produced using different extraction methods, are consumed in different ways, and appeal to different types of consumers. As the the surge in the popularity of cannabis concentrates increases, so does the demand for those in the know. Our recently launched Ganjier Product Specialist program contains lessons devoted specifically to concentrate production, assessment and consumption In fact, the instructors for those courses are none other than the ONLY two former apprentices of the late master hashishin Frenchy Cannoli, Laura "Belle" Bell, and Lena Burns. Lena, a second generation cultivator, artisan hashishin and founder of Canna M Gardens, and Belle, Lead Hash Maker and Director of Manufacturing at Heritage Mendocino, teach the finer points of cannabis concentrates, from how they're sourced and made, to assessing quality and optimal consumption options. See why leading cannabis brands including KIVA, Embarc, Cookies, Alpine, Natura Life Science, Parallel and others have already chosen to empower their people and put their teams ahead of the curve through the GPS training program featuring highly respected, award-winning craft professionals like Lena and Belle you won't find anywhere else.
