Join us for a 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 MHFA training on July 30th in Athens, OH from 9am to 3:30pm 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿: https://lnkd.in/gy_tXfzn This is what participants are saying about the MHFA training: "the course is greatly aligned to train an average person with little mental health background, it was not overwhelming for a novice like me. the encouragement of the instructors - they seemed like average/real people, like me and did a great job connecting with the learners. the videos/scenarios were very practical as they were believable, real-life situations." "When it comes to helping a person experiencing a serious mental or emotional crisis, we know that ordinary people can be extraordinary heroes," said OhioMHAS Director LeeAnne Cornyn. "Mental Health First Aid training has equipped tens of thousands of laypeople with the skills needed to intervene safely until a person can be connected to appropriate professional help."
