#FYLPROMemberNews: Earlier this month, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the National Network to Eliminate Disparities in Behavioral Health (NNED) held the culmination event for the 14th annual NNEDLearn training. Over the past five weeks, 17 community-based organizations came together virtually for capacity building in leadership, advocacy, and motivational interviewing to promote and sustain behavioral health interventions. Participants included FYLPRO members and Tayo fellows and collaborators including Michelle Garcia and Aryelle Montecer who had the chance to engage in networking, peer-learning, and collaborative application of training tools. https://lnkd.in/gbQ_uKDp

#FYLPROAlumniNews: Several FYLPRO alumni attended the Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote (APIAVote)’s 2024 National AAPI Leadership  Summit last week in Philadelphia including Lakhi Siap (2015), Danicole Ramos (2022) and Abbey Eusebio (2014). The two-day event armed attendees with the knowledge and connections to mobilize Asian American and Pacific Islander communities nationwide for the 2024 elections.
