Even as financial services cybersecurity constantly evolves, certain practices remain crucial. Unfortunately, as recent exploits show, those fundamentals are too often overlooked. As a service to the sector, FS-ISAC built a comprehensive tool for strengthening baseline cybersecurity practices: Cyber Fundamentals Applicable at all levels of cyber maturity, the guidance covers essential cybersecurity, such as encrypting data at rest and in transit, best practices for password management, and secure configuration management, among others. Financial firms are encouraged to share it widely – the security of one is the defense of all. https://bit.ly/3RVWLuf
