Following our holiday tradition, in your honor and appreciation of your partnership, we made donations to the following nonprofits: Volunteers of America-West Washington Oregon Food Bank Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado Shawnee Community Services (Kansas). These organizations serve those communities we invest in by offering rent and groceries assistance to those in need. In reality, 8 years ago you courageously jumped into it all by yourself -- securing the first deal in Arizona, investing most of our savings, convincing the first investors to join you, even though the only track record working for you was your personal integrity and business acumen, and ultimately delivering 30% annual returns to the investors (doubling the original forecasts)! ✅ Ok, I'll take credit for drawing the Freshwater logo on a napkin 😉, but other than that, you were the one launching this business. Just got back from an awesome trip with the Freshwater team in Kansas City! We had a productive day visiting three of our portfolio properties, and meeting new team members at our newest property Pine Meadow Town Homes. Oh, and let's not forget the traditional Kansas City BBQ lunch we had at Q39 restaurant. It was simply delicious! If you're ever in Kansas City, I highly recommend giving it a try.
