Congratulations to the 2023 STEAM Role Model Icon, Paula Harris and our esteemed Houston Role Models! We are truly inspired by their remarkable accomplishments and leadership skills, and we feel honored to recognize and celebrate them at the Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM Luncheon & Style Show! We are also extremely grateful to the fashion designers who generously contributed to our spectacular runway fashions this year, including Julie Roberts, Owner of Elizabeth Anthony; Kairy-tate Barkley Owner of French Cuff Boutique, Lisa Kelley-West, Owner of Monkee's of Houston, Michelle Wrubel, Founder & Creative Director of Anna Irion; and Hector Villarreal, Owner of Lucho. Their stunning collections have truly added to the grandeur of our event. A special thank you to Kim Roxie, Owner of LAMIK Beauty, for providing the perfect finishing touch to our role model's makeup and Visible Changes in the Galleria for sharing their magic in styling our role model's hair. We would also like to thank our exhibitors for their support and contributions to our cause. Your involvement and dedication are crucial to the success of our event. Lastly, thank you to our CEO, Suzan Deison, Chair of the Board, Pearl Chu, Women in the Fast Lane of STEAM co-chairs, Annette Kreuz, Brandi Harleaux, Allison McFarlane, Maegan Toups, GHWCC board members, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees for their unwavering commitment and contribution to making this event a success. What an inspiring evening for our team! So honored to have Ken Proctor speak at our staff meeting last night. We can't wait to continue developing lasting relationships with our wonderful clients!
Last night, I was privileged to speak to these Ladies of French Cuff Boutique. I was invited by their fearless leader Kairy-tate Barkley who absolutely understands the value of building relationships with customers and staff. In a world where "artificial" becomes more prevalent by the moment, these ladies understand the importance of creating real, authentic, non-AI generated relationships. There is just no substitute for treating people as people.
