Today is #BlackWomensEqualPayDay2024! Fortuity believes in equal pay for equal work, and we are committed to closing the wage gap for Black women. Black women continue to face significant disparities in pay compared to their counterparts. It’s crucial that we recognize and address this inequality. By providing fair and equitable compensation, we not only promote economic justice but also foster an inclusive and diverse workplace! Fortuity’s co-founder and Chief People and Brand Officer Katie Robinson proudly signed the pay equity pledge last year, and we encourage you to sign the pledge today! #PayEquity #BlackWomensEqualPayday2024 #DoingGoodIsGoodBusiness #HereForGood
Today is Black Women’s Equal Pay Day! On average, Black Women must work until today to earn what white men earned last year. This year, the symbolic day occurs two weeks earlier than in 2023. We’ve made strides in the fight for fair wages, but there is still work to be done. Join us in signing the pay equity pledge by clicking the link below. Let’s make a difference together! #bwepd2024 #payequity https://lnkd.in/gb63V7mc

Juneteenth marks the day when the last enslaved people in the United States learned of their freedom. This day is not just a celebration of emancipation, but a critical reminder of the journey towards equity and the ongoing fight for racial justice. In our roles as business leaders and HR professionals, Juneteenth urges us to consider how deeply the values of freedom and equity are embedded within our organizational practices. It challenges us to think beyond diversity quotas to fostering truly inclusive environments where every employee feels valued and heard. This Juneteenth, let's commit to turning reflection into action by: Educating ourselves and our teams about the historical context and impact of this day. Evaluating our existing policies through the lens of equity and inclusivity. Engaging in open, courageous conversations that pave the way for substantive change. How is your organization marking Juneteenth? Share your stories and let’s inspire each other to continue the work that remains ahead. #Juneteenth #DiversityAndInclusion #Leadership #HumanResources #SocialJustice
