On Thursday night I got to present at the Energy Club NT Chairman’s Dinner at the beautiful Pee Wee’s Restaurant. Thank you to Cassy Schmidt, the first female Chair of the Energy Club NT and to CEO, Stephanie Berlin who continue to do a great job connecting industry with our local businesses and supporting the growth of our energy sector. The NT energy sector is a crucial part of the Territory and Australia’s future. My Government has invested in upgrading the roads required for this industry, we’ve modernised the relevant legislation and resourced the government agencies - and we will continue to advocate for this industry.

Our platinum partners, Tamboran Resources Corporation and 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 have made two significant announcements this week that underscore their commitment to strategic growth in the Northern Territory energy sector: 1️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁: ▪️ Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (Falcon) limited its participation to 5% in the Beetaloo Joint Ventures’ second Shenandoah South well pad (SS2) and the two wells in the 2024 drilling program. ▪️ The two wells in the 2024 drilling program will create two Drilling Spacing Units (DSUs) totalling 51,200 gross acres around the new SS2 well pad where Tamboran and Daly Waters Energy, LP (DWE) as 50/50% owners of Tamboran (B2) Pty Limited have agreed to pick up the non-consent, increasing interest to 95%. ▪️ The 51,200 gross acre area has the potential to accommodate 23 well pads (138 wells based on six wells per pad, 3,000-metre lateral sections and 500 metre well spacings) ▪️ This area is expected to support the wells required to deliver gas to the proposed Shenandoah South Pilot Project. View full announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gcS6nsUE 2️⃣ 𝗦𝗦-𝟭𝗛 𝗜𝗣𝟲𝟬 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: ▪️ An average IP60 flow rate of 3.03 MMcf/d over the 501 metres (1,644 ft), 10 stage stimulated length, normalized to 6.0 MMcf/d per 1,000 metres (3,281 ft). ▪️ SS-1H well continues to demonstrate a steady, low declining type-curve and holding its downhole pressure. ▪️ Future development wells with lateral lengths of 10,000 feet may be capable of delivering average rates of 18.4 MMcf/d over the first 60 days. SS-1H well is planned to be flow tested until IP90, which is planned to be announced in late April 2024.
