This week I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer for my third year with the Food Bank of the Rockies. As a team of 6 people, we were tasked with packing boxes of fresh produce to be delivered to local organizations that help individuals in need. 330 Boxes of Produce = 8,910 Pounds of Food = 7,425 Meals! This was the impact my colleagues and I at Morgan Stanley had on the local Denver community. It's always inspiring to see how a small effort from each of us can make such a significant impact. At a recent meeting in Colorado, we turned strategy discussions into impactful actions. The Accredo Product Payer & Shared Solutions team packed over 16,000 pounds of food, that's equal to 13,454 meals for those battling hunger in Colorado. Thanks to this team's dedication, we continue to embody our core values, proving that making a difference in our communities is as vital as caring for our patients. Making a Difference at the Food Bank of the Rockies! Last week, the V-1 Consulting team rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at the Food Bank of the Rockies, a vital organization fighting hunger in our community. Together, we sorted through thousands of pounds of food, turning them into over 55,000 meals for families in need. It was a humbling and rewarding experience. Making meals matter for those in need alongside our community partners Montgomery County Food Bank, Food Bank of the Rockies, and Calgary Food Bank. In our operating areas, one in seven adults struggles to afford enough food. It's also estimated that one in five children live in food insecure households, facing especially tough times in the summer months. We're taking action and pledging $15,000 to each food bank to #fighthunger during our Summer Food Drive, in addition to matching employee donations to the cause.
