Pictured below - One of our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) boxes from our eat! online ordering program, sourced from the Hollywood Farmers' Market on Sunday. Some customers added on bread from Bub and Grandma's or eggs from Lily's Eggs. We had a great mix of produce from Carranza Family Farm, Tutti Frutti Farms, TD Farms, Sycamore Hill,  Kens Top Notch Produce, Vang Farming Ventures, and Sunrise Organic Farm 🌱 Thank you to everyone who supported our summer CSA! We're excited to see what's next!

Great news! Funding for the California Nutrition Incentive Program (also known as CNIP or Market Match) has been tentatively reinstated in the CA 2024-2025 budget but we still need your help to make sure Governor Newsom keeps CNIP funded in the final budget. Final decisions will be made this week so it's vital to voice your support TODAY.   Thank you to everyone who has supported so far! There is still time to get involved, if you signed the last email, please sign this one too. This email will go to the governor and representatives who weren't reached last time.     Here's how you can help in two easy steps:   1. Continue to Flood the Gov's inbox using Next Gen Policy's pre-written message tool. It takes 30 seconds! https://lnkd.in/gsUfYc6K   2. Help spread that word. Forward this post to friends and family and let them know our voices matter, and together we can help protect Market Match funding!   Thank you so much for your support!

In 2010, after graduating from college in Foreign Languages and Literature from the University of Turin (Italy), and after working as a translator and interpreter in her hometown of Avigliana (Turin, Italy), she moved to Los Angeles. Shortly after her arrival, she began her career as a journalist and foreign correspondent for several Italian magazines, including Vanity Fair, the Italian news agency ANSA, and the online culinary magazine Fine Dining Lovers. She's a journalist, podcast host, cookbook author, and most recently has taken on the role of food business entrepreneur when she launched "The Italian Cookie", an organic, vegan, and gluten-free cookie mix company that uses only fresh and sustainable organic flour. You can catch Alice hosting her live cooking show on Mondays at 5pm or at the farmers' markets throughout the week - shopping or sampling her delicious cookie mixes. We're thrilled to have Alice's insights on the culinary community and world of entertainment!
