In January 2025, starting with the implementation of the new physician fee schedule for Workers' Compensation in Florida, #physicians will receive an increase in reimbursement from 110% of #Medicare to 175% of Medicare for non-surgical codes, and an increase from 140% of Medicare to 210% of Medicare for surgical codes. This is a clear example of the power of organized #orthopaedics in #Florida and what is possible when we rally support. View the message from FOS President Dr. Aaron Guyer: https://lnkd.in/eCGViKyd

FOS is partnering with AAOE to give you access to the AAOE Benchmarking Survey. As a member of FOS, you can participate in the survey and get valuable data about how your practice measures against other practices your size. And, the more members who do so, the more you help us! AAOE will provide state results with us if 30 or more practices participate. Time is limited, so take advantage of this opportunity today: https://lnkd.in/eNg2EhuW

Effective May 30, a provider or supplier may be subjected to a stay of enrollment if they are deficient in one provider enrollment requirement which can be remedied by submitting a provider enrollment application. A stay of enrollment is a preliminary, interim status representing a pause in enrollment during which you will not be paid. During a stay of enrollment, or pause, your provider status remains active in Medicare, but Medicare will reject all claims submitted with a date of service within the stay period.
