Today we’re proud to celebrate our long-standing California roots. “This Land Is Your Land,” is an emotive rendition of Woody Guthrie’s iconic American anthem from 805 Beer Authentico and country singer-songwriter Jade Jackson. The latest project from 805 Beer, "This Land Is Your Land" celebrates the extraordinary stories of our 805 Beer Authenticos who embody the pioneering spirit of 805 Beer and its Central Coast of California origins. The film features Jade’s heartfelt performance and reflects the journey of Firestone Walker Brewing Company’s founders, David Walker and Adam Firestone, in their story of building a homegrown brewery in the heart of California. Founded in 1996 by brothers-in-law Adam Firestone and David Walker, Firestone Walker is a family-led second-generation brewery based on California’s Central Coast. Helmed by Nick Firestone, a proud USMC veteran, and the decorated Brewmaster Matt Brynildson, Firestone Walker's main brewery in Paso Robles produces a robust lineup of award-winning beers including 805, California's #1 craft beer brand established in 2012. Every year, we hold our Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival to celebrate the spirit of collaboration that thrives within the brewing community. And every year, we also release a speciality beer for the Invitational, brewed in collaboration with a brewery of choice. This year is no different. Meet Trailing West, the pilsner we’re ringing in the start of Invitational season with. Made alongside our friends at Half Acre Trailing West pairs a decoction mash of an Austrian barley variety over 100 years old with old-world Hersbrucker and Hallertau Mittelfruh hops. Italian-inspired, but with elements of Czech and German Pilsner, this beer is crisp and complex with a continental hop attitude.
