Brent Fenton here, also known as Firefighter Fenton on social media. As a firefighter in Arizona, I’ve had the honor of battling wildland fires alongside some of the bravest men and women I’ve ever known. July 2nd, is National Wildland Firefighter Day — a day to recognize and honor the incredible individuals who risk their lives to protect our communities from the devastating impact of wildfires. These courageous firefighters face extreme conditions, displaying unwavering bravery and resilience. Wildland firefighters endure grueling physical and mental challenges, spending countless hours away from their families and loved ones. Their dedication and selflessness inspire me, and I know they inspire many of you as well. It is a tough and dangerous job, but they face it with a level of determination and courage that is truly remarkable. At Fire Department Coffee, we understand the sacrifices made by these individuals. It’s one of the many reasons why I love working with Fire Department Coffee. Their mission to give back to sick and injured firefighters is amazing, and it’s something that I hold very close to my heart. Together, we strive to support those who have given so much to protect us, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need. As Independence Day approaches this week, it's important to prioritize the safety of ourselves and our families. Equally important is keeping our lands safe, as they can quickly become susceptible to fires. Let’s take a moment to express our gratitude to the wildland firefighters who have dedicated themselves to safeguarding our lands and communities. Thank you for being part of the Fire Department Coffee family and for joining us in honoring these incredible people. Your support means the world to us and to those who serve on the front lines. Stay safe, Brent Fenton (Firefighter Fenton)

Introducing July's Coffee of the Month Club from the region of Bugisu, Uganda. In 1954, the Bugisu tribe formed the Bugisu Cooperative Union, uniting and empowering the people and establishing high-quality coffee production. Even today, Bugisu remains a proud symbol of smallholder coffee, grown and processed by individual farmers in the region.
