A number of familiar brands and companies most likely come to mind when you hear the term ‘rebrand.’ When executed successfully, a rebrand is a tactic to keep businesses evolving. When done at the wrong time or without the right considerations, a rebrand can jeopardize the brand equity you’ve built—not to mention waste valuable dollars and time. This month, Fig Industries' Account Manager Jaimie Russo shares insights on when and how to rebrand effectively. Read more at https://lnkd.in/eR4HJAU4 and subscribe for monthly insights from our team.

Our team took a trip to the Susquehanna National Heritage Area and Downtown Columbia, Pennsylvania last week for a fun-filled day of team building, sight-seeing, education, and exploration. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and thank you to the teams at the Susquehanna National Heritage Area and Discover Columbia for being our tour guides for the day. If you’re in the Central Pennsylvania region and you haven’t ventured over that way yet, we recommend making the short trip!

Project Feature: Greenfield's Always Greener campaign Greenfield came to us for campaign development with the goal of elevating awareness about their offerings and showcasing the businesses and amenities within their community—emphasizing their commercial real estate, community events, and connection to S. Dale High and the High legacy. Our team created the name of the campaign, Always Greener, and crafted a suite of visual assets tailored for widespread promotion, including billboards, a dedicated website page, and branded merchandise. We also collaborated with MAKE/FILMS on the Always Greener commercial, which debuted during the USGA Women's U.S. Open Presented by Ally hosted this year in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where Greenfield is located. The design inspiration aimed for a fresh yet harmonious integration with the existing brand, featuring geometric shapes and a bold but approachable sans serif font. A leaf incorporated into the 'Y' symbolizes the scenic surroundings at Greenfield, adding an organic touch to the overall design. Explore the campaign at https://lnkd.in/egcK5E59.

Our Founder Deborah Brandt was recently honored by the Central Penn Business Journal as a 2024 Woman of Influence. From starting her career in New York City with just $20 and a dream to starting her own business back in her hometown of Lancaster in 2000 to leading a team of creatives at Fig Industries today, she brings invaluable tenacity and innovative thinking to every endeavor. Deb not only serves clients with excellence and ethics but also drives positive change in the community. Her commitment is evident in initiatives like the partnering with local nonprofits, serving on impactful boards and committees, and founding The Fig Tree, a Donor Advised Fund supporting small business owners in Lancaster City. Through Fig magazine, which she started in 2005, she has been instrumental in revitalizing Lancaster City and promoting its vibrant small business community. Her belief in the transformative power of creative ideas drives our team's mission to connect and inspire. We're privileged to work alongside her every day. Congratulations, Deb!

“How can I stand out on social media?” This is a question brands have asked themselves since the beginning of social media. On one hand, creating social channels allows brands to get in front of potential audiences quickly, easily, and at little to no cost. On the other, widespread access has led to a lot of noise across channels that brands constantly have to cut through. This month, Digital Content & Events Coordinator Meredith Michel shares insights on creating a memorable social media brand. I'm truly honored and humbled to be among other great citizens on the review panel for The Fig Tree grant selections. Through the The Lancaster County Community Foundation, Fig Industries created The Fig Tree, a Donor Advised Fund, to support local small businesses and entrepreneurs in Lancaster, PA through grants, mentorship, and networking opportunities that help these businesses grow and thrive. I was blown away by the quality and diversity of the local businesses represented. Each one of them showed passion, creativity, and dedication to making a positive impact in our community. I learned so much from reading about your stories, your challenges, and your achievements. You are all doing such great work and I'm proud to be part of this vibrant and resilient community and to sew seeds into The Fig Tree. #community #diversitymatter #supportlocal

Project Feature: The Inn & Suites at Kitchen Kettle Village website redesign The Inn & Suites at Kitchen Kettle Village came to us for a redesigned website that would attract new guests and engage returning ones. The goal was to showcase the unique experience of staying at the Village and enhance the display of their offerings. Leveraging our deep understanding of longtime client Kitchen Kettle Village and their target audience, we crafted compelling content highlighting the Villages's dining, shopping, and seasonal events. We also carefully considered the structure of their room offerings, as well as industry standards, to ensure a clear and inviting presentation. As a premier destination in Lancaster County, Kitchen Kettle's website design draws inspiration from Lancaster itself. Featuring a calming neutral palette and intricate quilt motifs, the design reflects the warm hospitality synonymous with the the Village's Inn & Suites. See our work at https://lnkd.in/eF_G4xXv.

Project Feature: Fig magazine's summer 2024 mood board For this summer's mood board, our team drew inspiration from plant-based eating, a call for sustainability, and a deep appreciation for the Lancaster County farmland around us. The result is a serene, nature-inspired mood board full of produce and outdoor scenes and guided by the words mindful, inspiring, fresh, and green.
