In the first year of our 2-year Feeding America Multi-Donor Senior Hunger Grant, Feeding Northeast Florida has staged monthly mobile pantries at Morris Manor and delivered kosher food boxes to First Coast Holocaust survivors as part of our continued efforts to address senior food insecurity in our area.

Working to solve hunger in Northeast Florida.
About us
Feeding Northeast Florida helps local children and families, seniors and veterans who struggle to put food on the table. Working with local grocery stores, manufacturers and farms, we rescue high-quality food that would normally be wasted and transform it into meals for those in need. We connect that food to more than 160 partners and programs within our hunger network, like City Rescue Mission, The Sulzbacher Center and The Salvation Army. These partners are able to provide not only food to those in need, but services that can help these families and individuals end the cycle of poverty, including job training or placement, low-cost childcare, SNAP benefits, medical care, affordable housing and counseling. In 2018, Feeding Northeast Florida distributed more than 14 million meals across our eight-county service area. Feeding Northeast Florida is Your Community Food Bank. With your help and support, we can make sure one of the basic needs shared by all of us is met every day.

Huge thanks to The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida and the Beaches Community Fund for our partnership spanning several years. The organization has empowered Feeding Northeast Florida to assist beaches neighbors facing food insecurity while working with other great organizations like, BEAM, Mission House, Inc., St. John's Catholic Church Emergency Assistance Ministry, and Chabad at the Beaches!

In early 2020, Publix Inc partnered with farmers having difficulties selling produce due to the pandemic. The idea: Buy produce and donate it to food banks. The result: Publix has since donated 100 million pounds of produce, including 8,329,983 pounds to Feeding Northeast Florida since 2020. We are thankful for this amazing community partner who supports our mission to provide fresh, healthy groceries to our neighbors facing food insecurity. #GoodTogether #FeedingNortheastFlorida #FeedingAmerica #FeedingFlorida #EndHunger #FoodPantry #FoodPantryDonations #foodbank

We are nearing the date when Feeding Northeast Florida will combine the operations of two Jacksonville warehouses into one larger +106,000 sq. ft. renovated facility on Old Kings Road. The EDNA SPROULL WILLIAMS FOUNDATION's generosity has long supported FNEFL's efforts to combat food insecurity. With their help, we will purchase specialized equipment to efficiently move more food through our larger coolers, freezers, dry storage and into trucks for distribution. The team at Edna Sproull Williams understands that our food bank must move quickly to target underserved communities and the +30 million meal gap faced regionwide. We are excited to show you our new Rider Pallet Jacks! A resounding thank you to the foundation for their continued support! 👏
