Closing feedback loops in aid, philanthropy, non-profits and government.

About us

Feedback Labs is a non-profit organization that believes people are the best experts in their own lives and they should ultimately drive the policies and programs that impact them. We envision a world where people are empowered with creative, field-tested ways to productively interact with service providers and express their honest opinions about the services they receive. Making people’s voices central to the decision-making process is our end goal, and we believe that it will revolutionize aid, philanthropy, non-profits and government. We achieve our mission through building incentives, tools, and community.

Good morning! Join us for a spectacular LabStorm with Missouri Foundation for Health next week, Thursday, August 8th, presented by 2024 Feedback Champion Sarah Moody. Missouri Foundation for Health is building a more equitable future through collaboration, convening, knowledge sharing, and strategic investment. Working in partnership with communities and nonprofits, MFH is transforming systems to eliminate inequities within all aspects of health and addressing the social and economic factors that shape health outcomes. The Foundation takes a multifaceted approach to health issues, understanding that strategic initiatives, policy, communications, and research all play a role in creating lasting impact. Challenge: Missouri Foundation for Health strives to effectively implement community insights into their organizational practices. Since 2002, the foundation has focused its grantmaking on reproductive health rates, behavioral health and diversion, food justice, gun safety and injury prevention, and open-responsive grantmaking, all centered around equity, systems change, and addressing root causes. Beyond funding, the foundation aims to provide additional support, such as policy documents. They emphasize learning and relationship-building as they work to shift decision-making to the community. Acting as a conduit of information, the foundation prioritizes context building and fostering community connections, supported by full-time staff dedicated to listening and relationship building. Missouri Foundation for Health is seeking the best ways to operationalize feedback and encouraging large organizations to adapt their operations to support community needs. 👉 Join us now and be part of this transformative event to contribute your insights and help shape a healthier, more equitable future! I’m excited to launch a new social work practicum placement at Feedback Labs! This is a great opportunity for a social work student (CSWE-accredited) to complete their practicum placement while they develop and refine their social work competencies, core principles, and commitment to the code of ethics. Build your macro K.A.S.E. (knowledge, abilities, skills, and experiences) and contribute to meaningful projects in the social sector at the organizational and field level. Feedback Labs is a nonprofit organization that believes people are the best experts in their own lives, and they should ultimately drive the policies and programs that impact them. To make feedback the norm in philanthropy, nonprofits, and government, Feedback Labs collaborates to create incentives, support feedback-related tools and training, and foster a community of people and organizations committed to listening and responding to the people at the heart of their work. As a Feedback Labs intern, you will work closely with the team, be trusted with great responsibility, and push the organization forward. Past interns have helped create new products, transformed our marketing and communication strategies, and written blog articles. Joining Feedback Labs is a chance to work with a fun and exciting team, learn from some of the most creative types in the sector, and be supported to take the next big step in growing your career. I will be the site supervisor and task supervisor for this placement opportunity. I have been a site supervisor for 8 years at 9 different schools of social work. You can learn more about what I’ve done with MSW here: https://lnkd.in/efC7G4rN If you are interested in this opportunity but Feedback Labs is not a registered placement site for your university, don’t worry! Get us connected with your field placement office and we can complete the paperwork to become a registered site. This placement is fully remote and comes with a weekly stipend. To learn more about the placement, click here: https://lnkd.in/gYh6BxWV Spread the word and feel free to reach out if you have any questions :-)
