All FamilyCare & ConvenientCare locations will close at 12:00pm tomorrow, Thursday, July 18, for an all-staff meeting. All locations will resume their regular business hours on Friday.

This past weekend, FamilyCare Health Centers (WV) hosted the 3rd annual #Kids Bash, a #community event celebrating #children. The gathering attracted over 1,500 attendees who enjoyed bouncy houses, carnival games, and free food. Moreover, 60 #children received free #sports physicals. We are pleased to introduce Jennifer Pharr as our new Vice President of Development. In this role, Jennifer will design and implement FamilyCare Health Center’s #fundraising strategies, working with senior #leadership, the Board of Directors, external organizations, and legislative and #philanthropic communities. She will serve as the primary grant manager for FamilyCare, identifying new grant opportunities, developing grant applications, and fulfilling grant requirements. Jennifer comes to us with a wealth of #knowledge in fundraising and over 30 years of experience in sales and team management. She is a motivated professional, bringing a solid background in community #development. She is highly skilled in #relationshipbuilding, with a proven track record in cultivating public-private collaborations seamlessly, making her the perfect fit for this role. In her most recent role with Element Credit Union, Jennifer was responsible for the design and execution of a comprehensive community, business development, and fundraising strategy. Her efforts yielded over $1.25 million for the organization. Before Element Credit Union, Jennifer served as development director for the YWCA of Charleston. At the YWCA, she acquired over 100 new donors and raised over $1 million in funding. In 2018, Jennifer was elected a member at large to the #Charleston, W. Va. City Council. Jennifer is enthusiastic about #collaborating with the community, board, and staff to advance FamilyCare’s mission of providing comprehensive care leading to healthy communities where our patients live, work, or go to school.
